PANCYPRIAN NETWORK OF NON GOVERNMENT ORGANIZATIONS

ANNOUNCEMENT

In a gathering at the Presidential Palace in Nicosia, on July the 8 th , the Government Welfare Services subsidized more than 200 Non Government Organizations (NGO), for their social welfare programs which are under way in the Republic of Cyprus.

The President of the Republic, Mr Dimitris Christofias, personally gave the checks to the beneficiaries.

The European Social Forum (ESFC), which for the last two years has undertaken various programs, in co-operation with the Government Welfare Services, received two checks for the year 2008 for the paioneer programs:

1. The SOCIAL ESCORT

2. The SUPPORT FOR FAMILIES WITH PERSONS WITH DIABILITIES

With this announcement we are calling upon all NGO, members of the Pancyprian Network of NGOs, “PANDEKTIS”, to come in conduct with us for the exploitation of these programs, for the benefit of their members.
