THE PROGRAM “THE CLOWNS OF JOY” IS NOW A REALITY
The training program for THE CLOWNS OF JOY took place with great success from 25 to 28 of July 2008. We had the impressive number of 40 young participants.
This program was put together with the aim to advance volunteerism among young people and at the same time to advance social contribution. The youth of the ESFC and the dance group ALEXASTERO will work on a pioneering program during the years 2008 and 2009. This program has the name “CLOWNS OF JOY” and it will operate using the European cultural program of “THE CLOWN” and with the support of the European program “YOUTH IN ACTION”
Our target is to see smiling faces from children in hospitals clinics or other institutions throughout Cyprus . Our clowns will participate in the performances and other events in the above mentioned places. We are trying hard to increase volunteerism and to introduce the European program of « CLOWNING » . We are going to organize such happenings in public schools throughout Cyprus .
