MEDICAL CLOWNS

MEDICAL CLOWNS continue their course and their pioneering work, under the “Youth in Action” program, offering “a smile” to everyone who is suffering in hospitals or at home.

Combining VOLUNTEERISM with the art of clowning our clowns perform a great work, in hospitals, and foundations.

Here we have to pictures from our very successful visit to the Limasol General Hospital , allways ijn cooperation with the Ministry of Health and the management of the hospital. This cooperation started with a simple visit to the Pediatrict Section of the hospital. But it ended by becoming a great joyful visit in all the hospital departments even where elderly person are hospitalised. The elderly and the young enjoyed the visit. We have already visited, in Limassol, the THEOTOKOS foundation, the Episkopi village High Schools and the Lanition High School . On February 26 we visited the Kalogeropoulio High School in Limassol .

We also visited the “ARCHBISHOP MAKARIOS” in Nicosia and the childrens home.

We will then visit the Paphos general hospital and the foundations there. In the meantime we are very successful with our visits at the Limassol high schools.

The general recognition and acceptance of our CLOWNS is a fact . We get so many invitations that we can not cope with.

It is very important to note here that the “LIOTATI” group of magicians works with us, plus the “face painting” volunteer students. They all did a great job painting not only the faces of the children but everything with joy.
